Therefore the man who has once comprehended Brahman to be the Self, does not belong to this transmigratory world as he did before.

He, on the other hand, who still belongs to this transmigratory world as before, has not comprehended Brahman to be the Self.

Hence the highest Self is subject to the fruition connected with transmigratory existence.

This objection we meet by the remark, that the transmigratory world is without beginning.

The sentient spirit, that to which transmigratory conditions pertain, is also of two kinds, the appetent and non-appetent.
