sizings

Sizars at Cambridge are properly students in receipt of certain allowances called sizings.

The breakfast was two sizings of bread and a cue (or Q, quartus) of beer; and the evening commons were a pye.

All else are extras, and are included in “sizings” in Cambridge; in Oxford the term is “to battel.”
