Three forms of the rhombus have come under my own observation, each and all apparently connected in symbolism with the lightning.

The Apache name for the rhombus is tzi-ditindi, the "sounding wood."

Like the rhombus, they are decorated with incised lines representing the lightning.

They are in fact the duplicates, on a small scale, of the rhombus, already described.

The triangles of the rhombus are different, for they are divided by opposite diagonal lines.
